Tata Sumo Extreme is a concept SUV and the company has no launch plans to launch it in near future. It was showcased at the Auto Expo 2014. It will be powered by 2956cc diesel engine which is rated to deliver 84Bhp of power at 3000rpm and 250Nm of torque at 1600 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox. There will be front disc and rear drum brakes for providing stopping power.
