From April 2018, all 2-wheeler manufacturers will have to mandatorily offer ABS on motorcycles of 125cc and above displacement in India. Bajaj is expected to launch the Pulsar NS 200 ABS variant by early next year to meet this deadline in advance. It is expected that Bajaj will launch ABS model of Pulsar in December. If some reports are to be believed, the company will begin this process by first updating its Pulsar NS 200 with a single-channel ABS. With the addition of new features and technologies, the cost of the motorcycle is likely to go up about Rs 10,000 than the standard outgoing non-ABS model.
