When is Yamaha going to launch the SMAX 155 in India?

The Yamaha SMAX 155 has been imported for testing and research purpose in India. Yamaha ha also imported NMAX and Majesty scooter in order to check which one suits the Indian conditions. The SMAX is an impressive ride with its 155 cc, 4-stroke, liquid cooled engine producing 14.8 BHP and 13.5 NM of torque. The scooter comes with a 13 inch tyre size and a 90 mm ground clearance, which is really a matter of concern for Yamaha India. They are working over the issue and the scooter is expected to be around INR 95,000. It also comes with a disc brake for both front and rear wheels, a 149 kg kerb weight and a very stylish and impressive look. No launch date has been specified by Yamaha India.
