Some riders test the limit of machine and rider endurance. But others take advantage of their trips to explore off the beaten path corners of the country, uncovering hidden gems. What's your one road trip on 220F that you remember, and why?
I solo rode Delhi to Ladakh on my 220F. The bike kept going at high altitudes, not missing a beat. It was an emotional moment crossing Khardung La.
Did a coastal run from Kanyakumari to Mumbai. I could easily do 500km days on the bike – it was so comfortable. Best camping was on secluded beaches.
Rode my 220F 3000km round trip to the Northeast. Meghalaya had some blast twisty roads. It was scary but thrilling had to ride through a landslide area.
Though my most memorable trip was actually a short one, a weekend ride to a nearby hill station. I got caught in the heaviest rain I've ever seen. The 220F plowed through like a champ.
Traveled from Bangalore to Rann of Kutch. The bike did the diverse terrain justice. It was surreal watching the sunset over the white desert from my trusty 220F.
Ran temple run over major shrines in South India. With the reliability of the 220F I didn’t have to worry about breakdowns and could focus on the spiritual journey.
Trying Sach Pass on my 220F was my craziest trip. However, it’s not really built for such terrain, but with some skillful riding we managed. It was worth the struggle to get the views!
