The Hyundai Creta is coming up with the same engines as the Hyundai Verna 4S. The car has 3 engine options, a 1.6 L petrol, 1.4 L diesel and the most popular 1.6 L diesel. The first two engine options are offered in the base and S trim, with the petrol model availability in the optional SX+ variant also. The third engine, 1.6 diesel would be the most capable one, producing 126 BHP from its 4-cylinder motor. The expected mileage of both the diesel motors is above 20 kmpl wheres the petrol motor will stay near to 19 kmpl figure. The exact values will be disclosed on 21st July, the day when Creta would be launched. It is expected to be priced between INR 8.25-11.00 lac.
