The Hyundai Verna 2009 model gets a hydraulic power steering. The car came with two engine options and a number of variants based on both of them. The petrol motor was a 1.6L unit producing 102 BHP and 149 NM of torque whereas the diesel motor was 1.5L producing 110 BHP and 240 NM of torque. Both the engines are mated to 5-speed gearbox, with a special 4-speed AT gearbox for the diesel motor in the SX Auto variant. The Hyundai Verna 2009 was one of the best sedans of its time, loaded with features which were mostly missing from the segment competitors. It came with a price range of INR 7,02,000-9,45,000.
