The Honda CBR250RR features advanced braking systems. For the 2017 and later models, it is equipped with axially-mounted 2-piston Nissin calipers on the front with a single 310mm disc, and a single-piston Nissin caliper on the rear with a single 240mm disc. Additionally, these models come with Anti-lock Brake System to prevent the brakes from locking up during hard braking. In contrast, the older 1994 model of the CBR250RR had a different braking setup, featuring 275mm dual discs with 2-piston hydraulic calipers at the front and a 220mm single disc with a 1-piston hydraulic caliper at the rear[5>.
