What modifications should you do to your Honda CB650R?
Changing a motorcycle can make it run faster, or look cooler, or be more fun to ride. The Honda CB650R is a popular bike for enthusiasts to customize. Riders are often discussing different modifications, from exhaust upgrades to suspension tweaks, to boost handling and the sound. A few will have their focus on physical changes to the aesthetic of the car, such as new bodywork and custom paint jobs, while others will have their focus on the performance enhancements. It’s a topic that’s debated on how much bang for your buck you get from mods and what actually differentiates your ride experience. When you're a beginner, or even more so when you are a 'senior' (no offense, guys, but I see your generation in the road quite often), sharing modifications can help other people make better-informed decisions for their bikes.
I’d have to say a good exhaust is a must! It really does change the sound and performance.
But don’t forget the suspension! Adjustable forks can make a huge difference if you upgrade.
The aesthetics of a tail tidy, I quite like. It looks way better and cleans up the rear end.
Tuning with mods can really be helped with a power commander. It's worth the investment.
Some of the custom paint jobs that I’ve seen have been pretty cool. Personal touch is key!
A great upgrade in the LED lights as well. They are modern and improve visibility.
A better seat can make long rides much more enjoyable, I think. Comfort is key!
I added bar-end mirrors; they look good and improve visibility.
Don’t forget good tires. They can completely change how the bike is set up to handle.
It’s all about what you enjoy on your ride at the end of the day.
