Yes it is confirmed that Maruti Suzuki will not launch the Jimny in India. The reason that the company cited for this is that the segment is too small to drive any significant sales numbers and bringing it would have put it up against the Mahindra Thar and the Force Gurkha, both of which are already dominating the market.
