Defence Land Systems, part of the Mahindra Group makes bulletproof kit for the Scorpio. The kit is on offer in three different trims – Executive, Premium and VVIP. Priced at Rs 12.67 lakh, Rs 16.07 lakh and Rs 18.33 lakh, respectively. Executive trim has bulletproof glass, body panels, fire-proof fuel tank and a real time vehicle tracking device. The Premium trim adds run flat tyres and the VVIP kit adds a blast proof carpet to protect against threats like grenades.
