What is the most unexpected challenge of Ariel Atom ownership?

Many potential Ariel Atom owners expect that living with the lack of practicality or weather protection will be a challenge, but there are always surprises that come up after some time living with the car. You may be faced with some unexpected challenges that could be any thing from maintenance quirk, to social situations, storage dilemmas, or surprisingly legal or insurance ones. Other owners may have to deal with problems that are not normally encountered with more conventional sports cars. These challenges may be anything from not being able to find qualified mechanics to wear on certain components that you wouldn't expect, or even psychological aspects of owning such an extreme vehicle. Understanding these less obvious aspects of owning an Atom can give insight to those considering buying one and may also bring some interesting stories from current owners about their experience with this unique machine.
