KWID has been currently launched with a 799 cc, 5-speed manual option. The next option on the list would be a 1L petrol motor with an option between 5-speed manual as well as an AMT unit. The same will be launched in the next year as KWID's 800 cc variant will take time to mark a place in the top sales chart. Launching 1000 cc now would distribute the sales into two different segments, making a loss statement for the company. KWID produces a max of 53.2 BHP and 72 NM of torque. It gets the best in-class features like 25.17 kmpl of mileage, 300 liters of boot space, 180 mm of ground clearance and a crossover inspired design. The currently launched KWID gets a starting price of INR 2,56,968 and gets an airbag equipped top variant for INR 3,53,131.
