What is the launch date of Maruti Suzuki Eeco Diesel?

The Maruti Suzuki Eeco is expected to launch in a diesel avatar in 2016 as it will rival Tata and Mahindra's small passenger vehicle range. The engine details of the new Eeco has not yet been disclosed by Maruti Suzuki but using the same 2-cylinder 800 cc diesel of the Celerio can also help the company to do the cost cutting factor and make the Eeco more fuel efficient. The lack of power would be the only practical drawback and the van may get a better price tag for its new generation.
