What is the experience of maintenance and service of Chetak 2903 compared to other scooters?

As an electric scooter, the Bajaj Chetak 2903 is likely to provide a more straightforward and possibly, more expense effective maintenance. Yet, as a new technology in the Indian market, there are doubts about the availability of skilled technicians, spare parts and the service network for the Chetak. Users report everything from smooth experiences with little to no downtime, to troubles with diagnosing the problem and getting timely repairs. There’s also the issue of software updates and how they are managed. In addition, potential buyers are interested in the long term maintenance costs and the battery replacement cost. As a result, there have been debates about whether the Chetak 2903 provides a better ownership experience than a typical scooter, and how Bajaj is handling the particular service needs of their electric vehicle.
I have had a breeze maintenance experience so far. There are no oil changes, no filter replacements – it’s all so much simpler than my old petrol scooter. And the software updates are easy to do at home, as well.
I've had mixed experiences. Check ups are quick and easy, but when I had an electrical issue it took forever to diagnose. It seems that some service centers are still catching up with EV tech.
Great lack of regular maintenance, but I’m worried about long term costs. You also don't really have to think about battery replacement down the line, which isn't going to be cheap, and you don't really have to think about that with petrol scooters.
