There is a certain exclusivity involved with owning an Atom. You start immediately connecting with other like minded people, and get invited cool events.

A little bit of isolation. You’re not really able to comfortably take friends out to dinner or go on road trips.

I have made some great friends through owning an Atom. The community of owners is strong and there is a lot of love for meeting up and sharing experiences.

Definitely a conversation starter, but more often than not a bad one. Some people think you’re going to show off or you’re irresponsible.

I attended more track days and car meets which improved my social life. You also meet like minded people.

The novelty wears off and it’s fun at first. At some point, you simply want to go somewhere without being all the spotlight.

In fact, owning an Atom has actually brought me closer to my partner. And my partner and I always love to go on weekend drives.

But it has without a doubt affected my dating life. Others find the impracticality of such a car exciting, while some are put off by it.
