What is the build quality of the Pulsar NS250 compared to previous Pulsars?
The Pulsar line has a long history with Bajaj and with each new model comes the expectation of better quality and refinement. The NS250 being a more premium and newer offering, then naturally there has been some talk of its build quality over that of its fore runners and even any other Bajaj model. Everything from the paint finish, panel gap, switches, fit and finish is being scrutinized by riders. The NS250 receives some praise for feeling more premium and put together, but others say it still doesn't measure up to the standards of some international competition. There's also debate about long term durability, with some riders having reported how the bike performs after months of hard use. It also digs into how the NS200’s build quality compares, and if the NS250 is worth it in terms of perceived quality and attention to detail.
They went all out on the NS250 and it's a huge step up in build quality! It's gorgeous paint finish and everything feels solid. It's like Bajaj has finally decided to play in the same league as the Japanese brands on fit and finish.
It's better, but still not great, meh. I've seen some inconsistent panel gaps and the switchgear is still a bit cheap feeling. While an improvement, it’s still not worth the price I paid.
I've owned a number of Pulsars, and the NS250 is the best built one of the bunch. Overall it’s just cleaner, the plastics feel sturdier, and it just has a more premium vibe.
People are too harsh on Bajaj, I think. NS250 is perfectly fine build quality for its price point. It's not Honda, but no Japanese bike is going to be that cheap.
Out of the box, the build quality is good, but I don’t know how long it will last. After just a few months, my friend's NS250 is already showing some rust spots.
It's a mixed bag. Some parts are really premium such as the tank and side panels, but then you get to the rear and it feels a bit cheap. Bajaj still needs to work on the consistency that is key.
The NS250 feels like a spaceship in terms of quality, coming from an older Pulsar. It's not perfect, but it's a massive improvement and it shows Bajaj is headed in the right direction.
