What first modifications are Aprilia Tuono 150 owners making?

by Sukhmandeep Kaurover 1 year ago0 views9 comments
As with most sportbike fans, Aprilia Tuono 150 owners can’t help but want to personalize and upgrade their ride. So what does a bike that comes so well equipped from the factory need? There are riders who focus on performance enhancements, like exhaust systems or ECU tunes, and riders who instead focus on ergonomic changes for better comfort on longer rides. Of course, there's also the aesthetic side of things, with many Tuono owners wanting theirs to look even more unique. It’s always cost versus benefit, and the impact on warranty and resale value. We will walk through the most popular mods for the Tuono 150 and discuss them.

Aesthetics for me, custom paint job or at least some nice decals to make it pop.

ECU flash all the way. The bike wakes up by and smooths out the power delivery.

Good tires make the difference in handling. Most stock rubber is pretty average.

First thing I'd do is focus on protection - frame sliders, axle protectors etc. You gotta keep that Italian beauty safe!

If it doesn’t come stock, a quickshifter is a game changer. But makes the bike feel so much more premium.

If you’re riding daily, comfort mods like a better seat and adjustable levers make the biggest difference.

Honestly, I'd leave it stock. It’s hard to argue with the Aprilia engineers, they know what they’re doing, and we don’t.

I'd go for a tail tidy. The stock rear end is just too bulky.

Exhaust is always first. I gotta let that beautiful Aprilia sound out!
