What effect does the Aeroride Bravo NM have on your social life as a biker?

by @sukhmandeepover 1 year ago0 views10 answers
Motorcycling is much more than just transportation, it is often a lifestyle, and a social activity. Switching to an electric motorcycle, such as the Aeroride Bravo NM, is an opportunity to alter the way a rider relates to others in his or her environment. What does the Bravo NM do to traditional biker groups? Does it generate interesting conversations or does it get shot down? Are there new electric motorcycle communities? What about the camaraderie at pit stops or group rides, for that matter, with the quieter ride? So what about the classic biker hangouts - do they have charging facilities or does Bravo NM riders need to find new meetup spots? We'll look at how picking the Aeroride Bravo NM could change a rider’s social experience and relationship with the biking community.

The best part? We can stop for breaks and not shout over loud engines. Now we can actually have proper conversations!

Sometimes it’s a bit isolating. Some of the random biker meetups are missed because not all charging stations are in social areas.

After a long ride, I love not smelling like exhaust. It makes post ride hangouts at cafes much more pleasant!

Group rides took some getting used to because of the lack of engine noise. Communication was something we had to develop new hand signals for.

I can definitely say it changed the way we plan rides. Now we’re looking for routes with charging stops, and we’ve found some cool new places.

But I’ve noticed some traditional bikers seem a little threatened by electric bikes. They seem to think we are trying to replace bike culture or something.

In fact, the quiet ride makes group rides more social. Before that, it was impossible to chat easily while riding side by side.

It’s opened up a whole new social circle for me, surprisingly. Now I’ve connected with other EV enthusiasts and we organise our own rides.

I’ve gotten some skepticism from my old riding group. We miss the sound and the smell of petrol bikes on our rides.

It’s been a great conversation starter! Every time you park at a biker cafe I end up chatting to curious riders about electric bikes.
