As motorcycle enthusiasts, we tend to personalize and upgrade our bikes to improve different aspects of performance or comfort or look. As a sporty small displacement motorcycle, the Aprilia GPR 150 offers interesting modifications opportunities. For example, owners may want to improve engine performance, change handling characteristics or make ergonomic changes to make longer rides more comfortable. What kinds of modifications do you choose will often drastically change the bike's character and capabilities, sometimes negating its stock shortcomings or just taking its good points and really making them live up to their potential. Understanding common modifications can give you some insight into what the GPR 150 can be used for, as a base for customization and how owners usually customize the bike more to their individual needs and preferences.

There's some wild builds with big bore kits and turbo setups. That’s crazy power from such a small engine!

My GPR 150 was much more tolerable for longer rides with comfort seat and bar risers. Big difference, small changes.

The game changer for highway comfort is a taller windscreen. It cuts down on wind blast significantly.

I fitted a quick shifter and it’s made the bike. It makes it feel much more premium and sporty.

Brake lines really made a huge difference in feel and stopping power when upgraded. I definitely recommend that mod.

I honestly kept mine stock. As is it's plenty fun and I don't want to mess with reliability.

A lot of guys will take a full ECU reflash. It flattens the power delivery and blesses with a little power throughout the rev range.

I also added frame sliders and a tail tidy. They're not performance mods, but they really make the bike look so much better.

Adjustable levers are a must. Adjustables make a huge difference in comfort and the stock ones are too far for my small hands.

The first thing I did was swap the exhaust. The stock one is way too quiet and an aftermarket pipe really wakes up the engine.
