For example, it featured body cladding, roof rails and differently styled grille. But when Maruti launched the new generation Celerio in 2021, they chose to discontinue the Celerio X. Car fanatics are divided on whether Maruti took the right decision by exiting from what many believed to be a popular and appealing variant. It could have remained a draw for buyers looking for a more distinctive small car, some say, while others suggest its niche appeal might not have justified its place in the lineup.
