This is a question on why small business owners should consider the Ashok Leyland Dost Plus LE.
Small business owners, especially in the light commercial vehicle market, have started getting excited about the Ashok Leyland Dost Plus LE. It was positioned as a game changer with high payload capacity, fuel efficiency and a comfortable cabin. The question is, however, does it truly meet the expectations? Some users love it, while others are worried about its reliability and after sales service in the long run. So let’s get into the real world experience of Dost plus LE owner and find out whether it is the ultimate solution for small businesses or just another commercial vehicle overhyped.
Absolutely! I have been using the Dost Plus LE for my vegetable business for more than a year now and it has been a total game changer. It has an insane amount of payload capacity, I can cram so much more than I could with my old vehicle.
Eh, I'm not so sure. The payload is great, but the suspension has had some issues. It feels a bit unstable when fully loaded on bumpy roads. Not exactly confidence-inspiring.
Decent, but not worth all the hype. It is good in fuel efficiency, not as much as it claims. On average I am getting about 16-17 kmpl which is fine, but not too great.
It’s been a lifesaver for me. Long hours on the road are a lot more bearable in the comfortable cabin. And the low maintenance costs have made a big difference to my bottom line.
I believe that this is up to your individual needs. For city deliveries, it's fantastic. For longer highway runs though, I find it a bit underpowered. I wish they would offer a more powerful engine option.
The hype is real, folks! Dost Plus LE has really upped my courier business game. Customers love how quickly I can make deliveries now and the large cargo area is perfect for odd shaped packages.
It's good, but not perfect. It depends on your location whether the after sales service is hit or miss. I’ve had some frustrating experiences receiving parts and receiving timely service.
I'm on the fence. It is great for payload and city maneuverability, but I have had some electrical niggles which have been a pain in the arse to resolve. It's not a deal breaker but worth noting.
It’s something to consider for small business owners, but do your homework. Drive it fully loaded, check the service network in your area and talk to other owners. Overall, it’s been fantastic for my business, but your mileage may vary (pun intended!).
