The CT 150X's performance is enough for occasional highway use, or is it only a city commuter?

Bajaj CT 150X is mostly sold as a city commuter but many riders are curious to know about its ability other than city roads. This question has led to many conversation about its performance on highways, its stability at greater speeds, and whether or not it is intended for longer trips. A few users say they feel comfortable taking their CT 150X on the occasional highway excursion, as the stability and power delivery at higher speeds is good. Some people, on the other hand, feel that the bike doesn’t cope very well outside city limits, complaining of engine strain, vibrations, and in general, being uncomfortable for long highway rides. This debate often involves comparisons to other 150cc bikes and the debate of the trade off between commuter features and highway performance. Riders also discuss their experiences and offer tips for extending the life of the CT 150X for longer rides, including modifications or riding techniques that help improve its highway capabilities.

On a couple of 200km trips I’ve taken my CT 150X and it surprised me how well it handled them. Cruising at 80-85 km/h is comfortable, and that's most of the highways you'll be driving on.
