The Bajaj Pulsar Adventure bike will be a game changer among Indian 125cc bikes.
The Pulsar lineup has given Bajaj a firm reputation of shaking up segments, and now they are stepping into adventure bike space with what looks like a 125cc offering. Maybe it could help fill the gap between commuter bikes and full blown adventure tourers. The spy shots reveal some interesting design choices, from 17-inch alloy wheels instead of spoked ones to a blend of ADV styling and some more road oriented components. This is an interesting approach that could be of interest to urban riders who want a taste of ADV without the bulk or cost of full sized ADV bikes. Will it be enough of an 'adventure' car to satisfy enthusiasts, or just a marketing ploy?

For real now, most ADV bikes are hardly ever in the dirt. If this thing can handle speed bumps and the odd dirt road, it'll do for most people's 'adventures'.

I'm actually excited about this. For those who want a bike that can navigate pothole riddled city roads and the occasional gravel path but without the intimidation factor of a full size ADV, it could be perfect.

If it's priced right, I think it will sell like hot cakes. Bajaj is very good at finding the feature sweet spot and affordability.

I'm skeptical. Adventure touring is kind of important and the 125cc engine might be a little too underpowered for highway use. And it may well turn out to be neither here nor there.

You guys don’t get it. For younger riders, this could be a great gateway drug into the ADV world. Start here, get hooked, upgrade to a proper ADV later.

It's a bit of a stretch to call it an 'adventure' bike with 17 inch alloys. It's more like a Pulsar with a few ADV inspired styling cues. It'll probably not be any good off road.

Bajaj, I think, has made a smart move. This might not be a hardcore off roader for everyone, but perhaps city dwellers looking for something a little more rugged for the weekend getaways.
