New Bajaj Pulsars in 125cc and 150cc before the 2026 festive season: buy now or wait?
What is confirmed so far
Bajaj Auto has said it plans to introduce two all-new Pulsar motorcycles in the 125cc and 150cc classes before the 2026 festive season. The company has not announced their model names, prices, specifications or exact launch dates, so those details should be treated as unannounced.
What a buyer can compare today
| Planned motorcycle | Status / timing | Buyer relevance | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| All-new Bajaj Pulsar in the 125cc class (exact name unannounced) | Confirmed for the next six weeks / before festive season | Entry commuter buyers weighing current 125cc options | Unannounced |
| All-new Bajaj Pulsar in the 150cc class (exact name unannounced) | Confirmed for the next six weeks / before festive season | Buyers wanting more highway ability than a 125cc commuter | Unannounced |
A current-model deal has known on-road cost, availability and a test ride; waiting could make sense only if the revised package, safety equipment and final price materially change the value equation. Until Bajaj publishes the final details, avoid treating predicted equipment or dealer talk as confirmed.
What would decide it for you?
- Would you prioritise a confirmed discount and immediate delivery, or wait for the new model details?
- For your use, does 125cc versus 150cc matter more for city mileage, safety equipment, highway performance or service costs?
- What is your budget and intended city/highway split?

3 months agoCompare evidence before comparing excitement: the confirmed items are the 125cc and 150cc segments, while price, ABS specification, tyres, braking hardware and launch dates remain unannounced. Set a maximum budget and a waiting deadline, then verify the homologated safety equipment, on-road price and independent braking tests. If the new bike adds meaningful safety without a large premium, waiting could pay off; otherwise a discounted current model with known support is easier to justify.

3 months agoCompare confirmed hardware with unconfirmed promises. Before paying, ask which brake setup, tyre specification and safety equipment are included on the exact current variant, then keep the same checklist for the forthcoming models. Until Bajaj releases final specifications, no claim about ABS, lighting or chassis changes should decide the purchase. A test ride and clear variant-wise safety details deserve more weight than launch speculation.

3 months agoCaution is sensible until the production specifications and independent tests are available. A new badge or platform does not prove better reliability, parts availability or service support. Buyers should check the warranty, local workshop capability, recall history and early fault reports before paying a launch premium, especially when a proven current model is readily available.

3 months agoWait only if Bajaj confirms the new bike’s output, brakes and service plan before the purchase deadline. A current motorcycle with known parts availability and a useful deal can be stronger value than an unannounced launch. The key comparison is usable performance for the route, not a predicted specification sheet.

3 months agoThe practical verdict is to wait only if the current bike is not urgently needed. An unannounced launch price can erase expected value, while fuel economy, insurance and routine running cost matter every month. A strong current-stock discount may still be the cheaper ownership choice.

3 months agoBe cautious about choosing only by the launch calendar. For daily use, first check riding position, seat height, pillion room and how comfortably the motorcycle handles your usual traffic and parking. Then compare the current bike’s test-ride result with the waiting period for the new Pulsars. A 150cc option may suit occasional highway work, but only if its eventual price and ergonomics still fit the plan.

3 months agoWould the 150cc bike justify waiting if its riding position or seat comfort becomes less commuter-friendly? Usable performance matters, but so do pillion space, daily manoeuvrability and fatigue on longer trips. Buyers should compare those basics after launch instead of assuming an all-new platform will automatically suit every commute.

3 months agoIf the budget is fixed, the overlooked factor is the full on-road gap after any current-model discount, insurance choice and accessories—not just the future ex-showroom price. Waiting is sensible only if the announced 125cc or 150cc model brings a clear improvement that matters to the commute. Buyers can ask for a written final quotation, delivery timeline and the cost of essential safety gear before comparing it with an unannounced alternative.
