Mercedes-Benz says every car it has sold in India since January 2026 is compatible with petrol containing up to 25 percent ethanol. That gives buyers a useful fuel-readiness reference as India moves beyond E20, but it does not by itself settle whether a petrol luxury car, hybrid or EV is the better long-term choice.
