Let’s compare how the Aprilia GPR 150 fares against other bikes in its class for daily commuting.

For riding a motorcycle on a day to day basis, comfort, fuel efficiency and practicality are far more important than sportiness. The sport oriented Aprilia GPR 150 may appear to be an odd choice for a daily rider. Its size, however, might be beneficial in heavy traffic, and the lightweight construction might also help with fuel economy. When it comes to the flip side, aggressive riding position could prove tiring on longer rides and in the lack of storage options, you might want to skip carrying any work essentials along. That merits thought as to how these features compare to a more traditional commuter bike, and whether the trade off for a sportier ride is worth it for your daily travels.

My GPR 150 is a blast to use and I use it for commuting. It’s not the most practical, but it makes every ride to work feel like a mini adventure.

A terrible choice for daily commuting. After a week of rush hour traffic, the riding position will kill your back and your wrists.

It's actually not bad. It handles pretty well for a nimble car, and can weave through traffic, and it's pretty good on fuel if you're not thrashing it.

I'd say it's a compromise. You get the fun factor, but you give up on comfort and practicality. It depends on what you value more in a commuter.

It's okay for short commutes. However, over 30 minutes and you will want an upright riding position.

I’ve been commuting on mine for a year. It won’t win any awards for comfort, but with a tank bag for storage and some ergonomic tweaking, it’s fine enough.

Commuting is definitely better with other options. The GPR 150 is a fun bike for the weekend, rather than a daily practical rider.

But actually, it’s pretty good for city commuting. Light and agile, and very easy to park. So don't expect to be able to haul much stuff around with you.
