Is Toyota planning to launch the next-gen new Qualis?

Toyota has no plans for a new generation of Qualis. The next generation of Innova is on its way whereas the new Fortuner has arrived in other Asian markets. The new cars will feature all new 2.4 L and 2.8 L diesel engines producing 400 NM and 450 NM of torque respectively. The Innova is expected to be with a 2.4 L engine only whereas the Fortuner will have both the engines as an option, with the availability of 6-speed manual as well as automatic transmission. The cars would get a new and aggressive design, with the Fortuner being more massive and feature loaded than before. It comes in a number of colors, making it a favorite before its launch. The new cars are expected to arrive in 2016.
