Is there any chance to purchase the RE Classic 500 Battle Green Edition for civilians in India?
I mean do they have to submit any special permission like they are retired military personal or they belong from a military background etc. Or is there any other ways by which it can be booked.

The Royal Enfield Classic 500 Battle Green edition will not be launched for civilians in India. The shade is kept for the Indian army and you can have an option between Classic Silver, Classic Tan and Classic Black only. The engine powering the bike is a single cylinder, 499 cc unit with a maximum power output of 27.2 BHP and 41.3 NM of torque. It comes with fuel injection and twinspark technology. The bike comes with a front disc brake and weighs around 190 kg. The Classic 500 is available for INR 1,60,000.
