Is the Yamaha FZS V4 Deluxe’s instrument cluster really useful or is it just eye candy?
Yamaha FZS V4 Deluxe comes with a modern and feature packed instrument cluster which is a big step away from its predecessors and some competitors. This digital display features all sorts of readouts and functions which Yamaha claims improves the riding experience. But there is an ongoing debate among riders how practical these features are versus how they look. While some say the extra information and connectivity options actually make their daily rides better, others contend it's mostly for show and can be distracting. Riders are debating which features they think are most useful, how readable the display is in different lighting conditions, and how intuitive the interface is. Then there’s conversation about Bluetooth connectivity and smartphone app integration – are these really useful to the average rider, or is it too much complexity? This topic frequently sparks wider debates on technology in motorcycles and whether these high end clusters are the future or if simpler, more focused displays are the way to go.
I love the new cluster! In fact, the gear indicator and real time fuel efficiency display actually help me ride more efficiently.
