Is the X-MAX 125 worth its high price tag because of the tech features it offers?

Loaded with features that you’d expect to find on a bigger, more expensive motorcycle, the Yamaha X-MAX 125 has arrived. It has items such as traction control, ABS, keyless ignition, and a fancy instrument panel. These features aside, these add to the scooter's appeal but also contribute to its higher price versus more affordable 125cc models. But some riders say these tech additions, however, are worth the premium, as they offer valuable safety benefits and improve the overall riding experience. But others argue that such features are superfluous on a 125cc scooter and that the money would have been better invested in a more powerful model or kept anyway. It goes beyond that and raises other questions about the role of technology in small displacement vehicles and if these features actually enhance the riding experience or just add complexity and cost. It also leads to a question of who the target audience is for: Are new riders better served by a high-tech scooter or something more basic?

No way. It's overkill for a 125cc scooter. If you save that money or spend it on a more powerful bike, you're better off. At this level, most of those features are just gimmicks.
