Is the Super Meteor 650 comfy for long rides?
As a cruiser, the Super Meteor 650 is marketed as an easy riding highway cruiser. But it’s not all smooth sailing; some riders have complained of discomfort on longer trips. Several things affect comfort over the course of time, for example, seat design, riding position, suspension, and vibration. Also, a bike feels comfortable according to individual body types and preferences. In this article, we will look at the Super Meteor 650 long distance comfort from various angles, based on the opinions of riders who have ridden this bike on long trips.
Last month I took mine on a 500 km ride and it was comfortable enough overall. The ride position is relaxed and the seat is decent. But, after about 300 km my back did start to ache a bit, as it does on most bikes.
