Is the Pulsar 125 Neon really the hype?
by Ashutoshover 1 year ago0 views7 comments
The Pulsar 125 Neon was marketed as a way to get a budget friendly entry into the Pulsar lineup by promising the same iconic Pulsar experience at an accessible price. Does it live up to the expectations though, set by its bigger siblings? Its sporty looks and comfortable ergonomics get some riders raving, but others say it’s underpowered for a Pulsar. Some dispute if it gives enough value for the money compared to other 125cc motorcycles on the market. The internet is buzzing with mixed opinions about this bike so it’s time to see what real owners and enthusiasts have to say about the performance, features, and overall riding experience this bike offers. So is it really a worthy addition to the Pulsar family or a marketing gimmick to grab entry level segment?

It's worth it, and I have one now and I've had it for a year. It turns heads, it's low maintenance costs, and good mileage. It’s all about managing expectations, it’s a 125cc, not a 220!

If you look at the target audience, the hype is justified. It’s making the Pulsar experience available to a broader group of riders. It’s not as powerful, but it’s a great starting point in the Pulsar journey.

The point I think people are missing. This is not a powerhouse, it is an entry level Pulsar. For what it is, it delivers. Perfect for learning and building confidence before moving yourself on to bigger bikes.

I love my Pulsar 125 Neon as a college student. It runs cheap, looks cool, and has enough pep for me. You don't need a speed demon, right?

It's a mixed bag. It's well built and, in the city, it's easy to drive and light to steer. However, it doesn't feel quite as thrilling on highways. If you are primarily riding in urban areas, I would say it is worth it.

Disagree! Its decent power for instance for a 125cc. And you get Pulsar styling without having to break the bank. Perfect for new riders or commuters looking for a fuel efficient daily commuter.

Honestly, I think it's overhyped. Yeah, it looks like a Pulsar, but it doesn’t have the punch that we associate with the name. It’s like drinking a watered down cola, it looks the same, but it’s missing the kick.
