Is the KTM Duke 250 a good bike for long-distance touring?
While the KTM Duke 250 is popular for its performance and handling, long-distance touring seems to be a bit divided on opinions. Riders say it's not ideal because of its aggressive riding stance and limited wind protection, but others say its lightweight chassis and powerful engine make it a fun highway option. If I was going to do a ride of 400+ km in a day or more, would the Duke 250 hold up? And compared to other bikes in this same price range for touring purposes? We’ll talk about whether this bike can function as a capable tourer or whether it’s better reserved for short, spirited rides.
While the KTM Duke 250 is excellent for short to medium-distance rides, it might not be the best choice for long-distance touring. The bike's seat is noted to be a bit firm, which could become uncomfortable on extended journeys. Additionally, its suspension setup, though agile, might not provide the comfort needed for long tours.
