Is the Ioniq 6 unique design a hit or miss?
Car enthusiasts have been on heated debate about the Ioniq 6's sleek and aerodynamic design. It’s either polarizing or just ugly, though some praise its futuristic look and excellent drag coefficient. The car’s curved roofline and tapered rear end make for one distinctive silhouette in a sea of boxy SUVs and traditional sedans. However, does the Ioniq 6’s bold design choice help or hurt its appeal? Think about what might look good, work well and stand the test of time. Does any compromise in aesthetics or functionality to a model justify the apparent emphasis on aerodynamics?
I absolutely love it! It's great to see a car that doesn't look like the rest of the cars on the road. They’re slick and futuristic.
Honestly, it's growing on me. I thought it looked a bit weird at first, but I like how unique it is now. It is definitely a conversation starter.
Miss for me. If it's not a bar of soap, it looks like one. I like designs that are more traditional and will age better.
The front is awesome, but the rear end is a little droopy for me. Aero stuff is like they went overboard.
I think it's brilliant. It's all about efficiency in the design and that's exactly what the range numbers show. It looks cool, but it’s function over form.
It's hit and miss. Some angles are amazing, others are not so amazing. I do respect Hyundai for taking a risk with the design.
As an EV enthusiast, I love it. It’s like driving a concept car from several years ago. Ok, it's polarizing, but that's why it's so special.
