Aston Martin’s DB12 has a jaw dropping price tag of over $300,000 and firmly sits in the ultra luxury category. Though it has impressive performance specs and a gorgeous design, some say it enters a filled market with established competitors such as Ferrari and Bentley. The DB12 is dubbed as a 'Super Tourer', but does it really have enough in terms of distinctive features and experiences to warrant its premium over other high end sports cars and grand tourers? When looking at the value proposition of this latest Aston Martin offering, consider factors such as brand prestige, driving experience, technology and potential resale value.
Absolutely worth it. The DB12 is art, not just a car. This is British craftsmanship, heritage and exclusivity that you are paying for. It’s a Savile Row suit on wheels.
No way. It’s a Porsche 911 Turbo S for that price, and you’d have enough money left over to buy a daily driver as well. The DB12 is gorgeous, just not $300k gorgeous.
