But don’t be fooled by this beauty, it comes at a cost — both the initial price premium and the ongoing care to keep that chrome gleaming. It’s one of those things that some riders swear by in order to give the bike a more vintage look, and others hate the upkeep. If there’s one thing, the chrome finish is especially prone to water spots, fingerprints, and general weather damage and presents a continual need to keep it polished and protected for the luster to remain.
