Is the Bajaj Freedom 125 NG04 Drum a future classic or just plain weird because of its unique design?
Bajaj Freedom 125 NG04 Drum is unique from other motorcycles in its segment with its unique design elements. The hexagonal headlight rolls into rounded edges, along with braced handlebar and exposed trellis frame, further adding to its unusual look. Motorcycle enthusiasts have been debating the bike's design, admiring its bold approach or criticizing its unconventional looks. The design's break from traditional motorcycle aesthetics leads some to believe the bike could become a future classic, a turning point in the design of eco friendly two wheelers. But others argue that the design is too polarizing and won’t age well. It’s a discussion of whether Bajaj’s design choices were a result of function (fitting in the CNG system) or a deliberate choice to stand out in a crowded market with a unique product. The debate of this case, therefore, brings to question, the balance between innovative design and market acceptance in the motorcycle industry.

It has a pretty cool exposed frame, which makes it look raw, mechanical. That headlight though, they couldn’t decide on a shape so they just threw all of them on.

It looks like a bike from a low budget sci fi movie and not in a good way I think. At least it's not boring though.

We don't know if it'll be a classic yet, but it's definitely memorable. That counts for something in a sea of lookalike commuters.

It’s more functional than anything. This is what they had to fit a CNG tank somewhere. It’s form following function, I guess, which has its own charm.

I actually like it. There's something retro futuristic to it. It's not trying to be a sports bike or a cruiser, it’s its own thing.

Future classic? More like future garage ornament. Apparently, they built it by committee, and the committee was probably drunk.

Well it’s definitely unique, that’s for sure. Twenty years from now, we might think of this as the bike that launched the CNG revolution. Could be a collector's item!
