Is the Bajaj CT 110X capable of beating more expensive bikes in long run reliability?

The Bajaj CT 110X has its name in the Indian motorcycle market for being an affordable and low maintenance. Yet, there is a debate about how it measures up to pricier competitors over the long term in terms of reliability. Others insist the CT 110X is a rugged motorcycle, with some riders claiming their bikes have run for years without many problems. Some say you get what you pay for, and a cheaper bike from a brand like Honda or TVS will be built better and last longer. It is not uncommon for this conversation to be about the availability and cost of spare parts, the quality of after sales service and the overall engineering of the bike. This is a topic that is often discussed among budget conscious riders who want to be sure they are getting the best value for the money over the long haul.

Surprisingly reliable, in my experience the CT 110X is. I've had mine for 3 years now and it still runs strong after only basic maintenance.

It's decent, but let's be frank, you aren't going to get Honda level reliability from a Bajaj budget bike. If you take care of it though, it’ll last, but it’s not bulletproof.

All I can say is that I think it's all about expectations. For the price the CT 110X is incredibly reliable. It's not a premium bike and it won't last as long, but that's not what it's trying to be.

His friend's more expensive bike has outlasted my dad's CT 110X. The initial price tag is not what it's all about, it's about how you maintain it.

In some ways, the simplicity of the CT 110X actually makes it more reliable. The less fancy features you have, the less can go wrong.

I’ve seen these bikes go 100,000 km and still run strong. These are workhorses built to work.

For what it is, it’s reliable enough, but don’t expect any miracles. If you take care of it and have it serviced regularly it will keep going for years.
