Is the Bajaj Chetak Premium long term reliable?

by Ashutoshover 1 year ago0 views7 comments
In India, electric scooters are still fairly new, and there are worries about their long term reliability. As a premium offering, the Bajaj Chetak Premium is expected to last longer. So how does it actually stand the test of time? Do common problems arise after prolonged use? Things to consider are battery degradation, motor performance, and overall build quality. What does Bajaj's after sales service do in case of problems? So what is the longevity and what does the maintenance cost compare to other electric scooters?

The standard Chetak, on the other hand, has a reliability track record that doesn’t appear as consistent. The extra quality shows.

Bajaj's service network is not great for electric vehicles yet but I think it is pretty reliable. That is a long term ownership concern.

It’s still a question mark long term reliability. To really judge, we need more data from users that have had it for 3+ years.

Since the Chetak Premium is a lot more durable than other e scooters I’ve tried out so far. It's built like a tank.

The software glitches out and I’ve had some issues with it, but the battery seems to hold up really well. Bajaj's tech needs working.

I've heard mixed things. There have been some great experiences and some people have had recurring electrical problems. It's a bit of a gamble.

Over a year later, my Chetak Premium is rock solid. No issues whatsoever. Bajaj really hit the nail on the head in terms of reliability.
