Is the Altius Scimitar 670 Diesel the ultimate zombie apocalypse bike?

Question

Imagine yourself in a world where the world has gone to hell, zombies are running around on the streets, and you need a reliable ride to get you through it. It looks like the Altius Scimitar 670 Diesel could be the perfect apocalypse ready motorcycle. That’s badass military vibe, runs on multiple fuel types and it’s rugged. So, is it really the best choice to live in a world overrun by the undead? So let's take a look at its off road capabilities, it's fuel efficiency, durability, and how practical it is in a post apocalyptic scenario. Would its diesel engine be a good thing or a bad thing? But would it hold its own against other popular survival vehicles? Could you outrun a horde of zombies on this beast, and most importantly?

Y'all are overthinking this. Whatever you can get your hands on is the best zombie apocalypse vehicle. If you can get the Scimitar, do. It's better than walking!

@vijay-kuma · Answer

Forget bikes altogether. You want a 4x4 truck or SUV, for the zombie apocalypse. It has more storage, better protection and you can sleep in it. It's neat, but not practical for long term survival.

If I couldn’t find a good dual sport bike, I’d take it. The Scimitar's cool, but would be more practical and easier to maintain in a post apocalyptic world like a KLR650 or DR650.

You're all missing the point. In a zombie apocalypse, reliability is the most important thing. As a result of the Scimitar's military heritage, it's built to last. There’s no fancy electronics to fail, just good old fashioned mechanical simplicity.

@divya-gupt · Answer

I would mod the Scimitar first, it's got potential. Just slap on some armor plating, a couple of weapon mounts and perhaps a small trailer for supplies. You've got a real apocalypse machine then!

@pranshu-mi · Answer

Nah, it's too heavy and loud. What you want is something nimble and quiet so you don't attract zombies. Stealth would probably be better served with a lightweight dirt bike or even an electric motorcycle.

@jyotsana-h · Answer

Hell yeah, that’s the ultimate zombie slayer! That multi fuel capability allows you to scavenge whatever you find and keep moving. And diesel engines are known to last, so you won’t have to worry about a breakdown in zombie territory.
