Suzuki is planning for a rear disc brake version of Suzuki Gixxer but it would be for the 250 cc model, which has been rumoured from a long time. The bike currently gets a 154.9 cc, air cooled engine producing 14.6 BHP and 14 NM of torque. It comes with a 5-speed gearbox whereas the rumoured version would definitely come with a 6-speed transmission. The SF comes with an aerodynamically tested fully faired design, which would get carried away into a new avatar on the new bike. The currently sold Gixxer comes in naked, dual tone naked , SF and SF MotoGP edition and the new edition's classification is also expected to be the same as the current generation. The Gixxer SF comes with a price tag of INR 83,439.
