Is Renault India going to launch diesel version of KWID?

This is entry level car, so Renault will never release diesel version of KWID.

The diesel version of the KWID has only been a rumor till date. The entry level cars in India are mostly petrol based and the engines are highly efficient on the part of mileage. The 800 cc KWID is expected with a highly efficient petrol engine, returning an expected 25 kmpl mileage. Also, the car is said to come with a 1000 cc petrol engine in the future, which will rival the India's best selling Alto K10 and others in the segment. Till now, the KWID is coming with a fully loaded interior consisting of a 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument console and its SUV like appearance makes it more appealing than others in the segment. It is expected to be for INR 3-4 lac, depending on the variant.
