Is Mr Clean Continental GT 650 worth the extra buck over the standard GT 650?

by @ashutosh.kumarover 1 year ago0 views5 answers
The Continental GT 650 Mr Clean edition has a unique chrome finish and a few exclusive features. It's priced higher than the standard model, however. While some riders argue that the chrome finish is simply more maintenance intensive, and thus may not be practical for riding every day. Some say it is worth the extra cost for the premium look and exclusivity, others say not. The chrome finish also draws lots of debate about if it has any impact on weight, or performance. In addition, some of the owners have complained about chrome peeling or discoloration after some time. Another issue that potential buyers are discussing is about the resale value between the Mr Clean edition and standard models.

It's not just about looks. But overall it feels slightly more premium. It’s the little things.

Regret Mr Clean. It's a full time job, keeping it spotless. I should have gone for a regular color.

Depends on your use. If it's a weekend showpiece, I say go for it. The standard version is good for daily commuting.

Nah, it's just a gimmick. The same ride and less expensive is the standard GT 650. Save your money for mods.

Absolutely worth it! It seems to turn heads wherever I go, because the chrome finish is pretty nice. It's art on wheels.
