Unfortunately, Maruti Swift diesel is not available with an automatic gearbox in India. The automatic is offered on the Dzire petrol and diesel variant. The gearbox used on them is a Magneti Marelli sourced 5-speed AMT unit while the conventional CVT gearbox is used on the petrol variants of Maruti Suzuki Baleno. The car maker has offered the Swift in India with just a 5-speed gearbox from it's starting days. They can offer it anytime in the country as all of the technology and setup would stay the same as the Dzire for the Swift also.
