Is it possible to take Honda Dio for long rides?
While the Honda Dio is primarily designed for urban commuting, it can handle long rides to some extent. The scooter is capable of cruising at constant speeds of up to 80 kmph, which is suitable for long-distance travel on highways. The 110cc and 125cc variants offer a balance of power and fuel efficiency, with the 110cc model being particularly noted for its ability to cover long distances on a small amount of fuel, achieving a claimed mileage of 50 kmpl. Additionally, features like the Idling Stop System, which automatically switches off the engine at quick stops, and the sensor-based PGM-FI System for efficient fuel combustion, contribute to its suitability for longer rides. However, the comfort and ride quality, which include a well-tuned suspension system and an ergonomic design, also make it manageable for extended periods of riding, even on slightly rough roads.
