The popular petrol car gets the first in-house 793 cc, 2-cylinder diesel engine, producing 47 BHP @ 3500 rpm and 125 NM @ 2000 rpm. The car has everything exactly the same as the petrol model expect its engine. It comes with the same 5-speed manual transmission and 35 liters of fuel tank. The car comes with ABD and airbag on the top end variant, making it a preferable choice over the other hatchbacks in the segment. It is the most fuel efficient car in India, making out 27.62 kmpl. It comes with a price range of INR 4.65-5.71 lac. The same motor is expected to be added to the Alto and WagonR lineup soon.
