Is Bajaj Freedom 125 NG04 Disc really the most hyped bike?

Question

Recently, the Bajaj Freedom 125 NG04 Disc has been making quite a buzz among young riders seeking a stylish and affordable commuter. It has a modern design and a disc brake, some praise, whereas some think it is just another basic 125cc bike. The debate is whether it offers enough value and features to go for it over the likes of the Honda Shine or Hero Glamour. The folks over at Bajaj are cashing in on the Freedom name and riders are discussing if the Freedom 125 brings anything truly unique to the table. In the 125cc segment, there are so many options, it’s worth looking into if this bike is what it’s cracked up to be or if it’s just a dud.

The real value of the Freedom 125 NG04, I feel, lies in its feature balance. But at a competitive price point, you get modern styling, decent performance, and that all important front disc brake. It’s not perfect in any particular area, but as a whole it’s a pretty compelling package for the average commuter.

The Freedom 125 isn’t trying to reinvent the wheel, you guys are missing that point. This is a no frills reliable commuter that gets the job done without busting the bank. Not all bikes need to be revolutionary to be worth buying.

I've test ridden it and I'd say it's a mixed bag. Ergonomically you do exactly what you need for daily commutes, and the engine is refined. The headlight could be brighter though and the suspension is a bit too stiff. If that’s all there was, then it'd be a good option, but there are better options in its class.

I disagree, for the price, the Freedom 125 NG04 is a solid bike. It's good quality build, comfortable for city riding and that front disc brake is a real safety plus. With none of the major compromises, it ticks all the right boxes for a budget conscious buyer.

I honestly think the hype is a little overblown. Yes, it's not bad looking, has a disc brake, but at the end of the day it's another 125cc commuter. Other brands will offer you similar features and performance for less money. The Freedom name has no meaning anymore.
