I honestly think the hype is a little overblown. Yes, it's not bad looking, has a disc brake, but at the end of the day it's another 125cc commuter. Other brands will offer you similar features and performance for less money. The Freedom name has no meaning anymore.

I've test ridden it and I'd say it's a mixed bag. Ergonomically you do exactly what you need for daily commutes, and the engine is refined.
