KTM has not yet hinted the launch date or period for its 1290 Super Duke R in India. The rumours of a 390 based adventure bike was out a time ago and I expect that KTM will first launch the 200 and 390 series adventure bikes and then would bring the bigger units as a CBU. The Super Duke is the most powerful Duke with a 1301 cc engine, producing 180 BHP and 144 NM of torque. It gets a top speed of 280 kmph and comes with a dry weight of 189 kg. It is expected with a price tag of INR 15,00,000. The Super Duke comes with twin 320 mm disc brakes for the front and a 240 mm disc brake for the rear. The Super Adventure comes with a relatively small 1195 cc engine producing 148 BHP and 125 NM of torque. It is expected with a price tag of INR 14,00,000.
