If Maruti was to bring back Zen today, what would be the features you would want?
A favorite hatchback, the Maruti Zen was small, quick and fuel efficient and much loved. But if Maruti were to bring back the Zen nameplate for a new car, it would have to compete in a market that has changed drastically since the days of the original Zen. Today's car buyer demands advanced safety systems, modern infotainment, and greater efficiency or electrification in return for his purchase. To remain true to the spirit of the original Zen, however, the new version would have to retain the original's fun to drive character and compact dimensions. This question pushes people to think about what a modern Zen could be, a modern Zen that is a blend of nostalgia and modern automotive technology and market demands.
It should definitely be lightweight and fun to drive, but bring in modern safety features such as airbags and ABS. Maybe better fuel efficiency with some mild hybrid system?
