The KTM RC 200 is known for its agile and responsive handling, making it a favorite among enthusiasts. For maintenance, it is crucial to follow the schedule outlined in the owner's manual. Key maintenance tasks include checking and adjusting the chain tension every 500-1000 km, changing the engine oil and oil filter every 5,000 km, and replacing the air filter every 10,000 km. Additionally, regular checks on brake fluid levels, brake linings, and coolant levels are essential. The bike also requires periodic cleaning of the chain and lubrication of moving parts like the clutch, brake, and gear levers. For detailed servicing, owners can refer to the manual or watch instructional videos that guide through steps such as washing the bike, changing spark plugs, and checking the fork oil. Proper maintenance ensures the bike remains in good running condition and maintains its performance and safety standards.
